Recipe Ingredients

  • 20 Matarazzo Puff Pastry dough for turnovers
  • 5 tablespoons of Matarazzo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 5.30 oz onions
  • 5.30 oz green onions
  • ½ red pepper
  • 10.6 oz ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3.50 oz olives
  • 3 hard boiled eggs

Recipe Instructions

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!
  1. Sauté the onions and the chopped bell pepper in the Matarazzo Extra Virgin Olive Oil at high heat for 5 minutes.

  2. Add the minced meat and continue cooking for 5 more minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and add the cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Let cool and add the olives and the chopped hard-boiled eggs.

  4. Fill the Matarazzo Turnover Dough with the filling and close, forming a seal.

  5. Place on an oiled plate and brush with beaten egg.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at high temperature (200°C) until golden brown.
