Our story starts in a small Italian town located on the Thyrrenian coast called Santa Maria di Castellabate, where Costabile Matarazzo was born. In 1899 he arrived to South America  seeking for new opportunities. He had the ambition to open a factory to share all the Mediterranean flavors with the world and stay connected with his roots.
In 1942, Costabile and his family founded the Matarazzo pasta factory. His passion, dedication, and superior quality grains from the New World, made the company a huge success.
